Picking tea in WuyishanСбор чая в Уишане

The whole town of WuYishan is dedicated to growing and producing Oolong teas. And a little bit of Red teas too. But the main plantations next to the famous cliffs are Oolong teas. Before we went to the tea plantation to work Juyan showed us how to pluck this type of tea leaves. The bigger the leaves the better. And you take 3 or 4 leaves. Very different from green teas, where the smallest, the most tender buds and leaves are plucked.

And the top photo is me plucking the leaves. Concentrating. Yes, it requires a lot of concentration when you are a beginner - at least for me. :)))

Весь Уишань выращивает Улунские чаи. Ну и немного красных чаев. Но главная чайная плантация, которая находится возле знаменитых утесов в заповеднике, для улунов. Перед тем, как поехать на чайную плантацию собирать чай, Джюань показала нам, как их собирать. Чем больше лист, тем лучше. И нужно собирать 3-4 листа. Это очень отличается от зелёных чаев, где собираются самые маленькие, самые нежные почки и листочки.

На верхней фото я, как раз собираю чай. Концентрируюсь. Да, когда ты новичок в этом деле, нужно много концентрации - по крайней мере для меня. :)
