One week before the summer solstice marks the threshold of the season’s peak—a powerful moment of transition as we approach the longest day of the year. Nature pulses with life, and the air is rich with warmth and possibility. It is a time to open fully, to align with the expansive energy of the season, and to welcome the light within and around us.

In this intimate Tea Ceremony, we will turn inward through the gentle, grounding medicine of tea. As we sip in stillness, tea works to clear the body of toxins, quiet the mind, and invite deep presence. Healing unfolds on many levels—mind, body, and spirit—restoring a sense of peace, harmony, and the inner balance we all long for.

ABOUT ROUGE

Lei established Rouge in 2005 building on her background in business and fashion designer. Rouge is now recognised in London for its careful selection of rustic, vintage and contemporary furniture from Northern China, handmade ceramics, luxurious textiles, and a diverse range of decorative interior accessories. 

During the Summer 2021 we have successfully launched our wellness space in our stoke newington shop offering Kundalini yoga and sound healing. In the Autumn season, we have focused on running craft sessions including sashiko stitching and indigo dye workshop. Looking ahead, we are busy planning our exciting spring/summer programme of wellness, cookery and arts & craft. All our events are designed to foster creativity, connection and community.
