The Medicine of Sound and Tea

  • Globe House Yoga 18 Crucifix Lane London, England, SE1 3JU United Kingdom (map)

Where: Globe House Yoga, London Bridge, London
When: Sunday, 11 June, 7pm
Cost: £35

Join us on this magical night for a journey to the heart with the ceremony of Tea and Music.

I am excited to be in collaboration with this magical woman Valeria Kurbatova (we even share the same name!) and her healing medicine of harp, gong and Tibetan bowls.

We will gather in a circle, and connect in silence and stillness with the Medicine of Wild and Ancient Tea, to the soft enveloping sound of the harp.

Both Tea and Music are powerful and deep embodiment practices, that connect us to alive embodied presence through immersing fully in our senses.

ABOUT VALERIA
Valeria Kurbatova is a classically trained harpist who has performed as a soloist and with her chamber music groups across the world, winning numerous awards and scholarships. She graduated from the Royal College of Music with distinction and specializes in contemporary harp, collaborating with artists across genres from classical to hip hop and electronic music. Valeria is the principal harpist of the London Electronic Orchestra and a member of the London Contemporary Orchestra, frequently recording for labels such as Decca and AMF records.

Valeria's transition from harpist to sound healer was a natural evolution, stemming from her deep appreciation for the transformative power of sound and its ability to impact physical and emotional well-being. With over 20 years of experience in music, she creates unique sound healing experiences using instruments such as harps, sound bowls, and gongs.
